BØØTY
"A behemoth musical force, where nods back to the great funk and soul pioneers of the '70s go hand in hand with a very contemporary and almost scientific deconstruction of the hedonism behind universal dance music." - The Line Of Best Fit
B00TY (spelled with zeros) is the L.A. based electro-soul collective led by singers and producers Edan Frei and Adam Epelbaum. Their live set is full of duel falsetto swagger, top notch musicianship, and a full band that includes Sadé Clacken Joseph, director of Issa Rae's new HBO show, "Rap Sh!t."
B00TY are the ideal visceral hedonistic party hang for anyone who wants to channel themselves back to the original vibe of 1970s primetime Sly And The Family Stone via the modern twist of music pioneers like Kaytranada and Calvin Harris.
B00ty has been profiled by Billboard, Complex, Beats 1 Apple Music, Line of Best Fit, Hype Beast, KCRW and more. B00TY was featured on Common’s album “A Beautiful Revolution pt 1” and their new single, "Matter Of Time," is featured in the pilot of Rap Sh!t, out now on HBO.

How BØØTY formed
Edan comes from an extensive music background, starting on violin at age 4, and was playing a dozen instruments, singing and songwriting, by the age of 13. Edan got his start in the music industry collaborating with legendary actor, Sir Anthony Hopkins, on his film scores and music compositions. Adam, who grew up freestyle rapping, comes from a stand-up comedy, screenwriting, acting and improv background. They met at UCLA, where they began their collaboration while living together in Jim Morrison's old apartment, and quickly made their presence felt in LA, opening for the multi-talented genius, Reggie Watts at his late night residency in Echo Park. B00TY then added accomplished film director, Sadé Clacken Joseph, who sings backup in the band, and directs the majority of the band's music videos and visual content. As The Line Of Best Fit put it: "B00TY is a behemoth musical force."
